July 2017 - Application Developer

We are currently looking for a Junior/Intermediate C# developer. The applicant will be participating in a full cycle agile environment – requirement gathering, development, QC and UAT, implementation/integration, testing and support/training.

This position will initially require working onsite in Ottawa (West-End), Ontario, Canada, with the option to transition to work from home for the right candidate.

What you’ll be doing:

Analysis of business needs, design, and coding new technical solutions

Maintain and modify existing software (expansions, new features, bug fixes, etc)

Refactoring existing framework to simplify components and libraries and promote code re-use

Supporting client’s needs by improving and enhancing our products

Researching new technologies and methodologies that would enhance the products and services we provide

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Completion of a post-secondary program with an emphasis in Computer Science or application development, or equivalent technical experience. Recent graduates are also welcome to apply.

2+ years’ experience working with our primary technology stack:

C#, .Net Framework (v2.0-4.5), WinForms, ADO.Net, ASP.Net (jQuery, CSS), Web Services (SOAP and WCF), and SQL Server/T-SQL.

Knowledge of the following skills would be considered an asset but are not necessary:

Java/Android development (Eclipse)

Familiarity with PCI Compliancy

Familiarity with source control systems, i.e. TFS/Git/Vault

Responsive web design

Preference will be given to bilingual (English/French) candidates
